Class Descriptions
Open - is a class open to anyone. Whether you are brand new to yoga or have years of experience, this class is designed to offer something for everyone. Just bring an open mind and heart as you prepare yourself to step into a place of grace.Return to top.
Basic - is a class for people who want to experience the fundamentals of Anusara yoga. It is for beginner level yoga students focusing on setting a solid foundation and understanding of the Universal Principals of Alignment TM. Return to top.
Intermediate - is for students ready to advance their practice to the next level. This class is appropriate for students familiar and comfortable with both basic yoga poses and the Anusara alignment principles. In this class, you will receive an adventurous challenge into the realm of learning inversions, arm balances and deeper backbends. Return to top.
Advanced - is a class for people who have a strong understanding of the Universal Principals of Alignment TM and want to deepen their practice. This class explores more challenging asanas in a heart oriented and playful environment. This level is appropriate for students who are able to both kick up to handstand at the wall and perform Urdhva Dhanurasana /wheel pose unassisted. Return to top.
Led Practice - is an inspiring and fun filled class designed so that the teacher practices with the class. It is a great tradition in the Anusara community as it offers everyone a chance to experience something new. Return to top.
Pilates - Designed for a variety of levels our group mat classes combine flow and precision to the most fundamental of Pilates’ work– the floor routine. This mind/body workout focuses on the abdominals and back while working on spinal articulation and pelvic stabilization.
